NPM 2010

National Poetry Month

Well, it’s finally here—almost. Next month, April, is National Poetry Month. I can’t believe it’s been a year already! I’m so early I’m surprised. I’m separating out 2010′s posts from the previous years’ efforts, to have more room for the poems list and other posts, related to National Poetry Month 2010.

Please come again! And, as always, feel free to leave your comments.

Update 5.4.2010: I’ve moved the general update posts to the bottom of the page. If you’re interested in knowing where my head was at some points in the month, please, by all means, scroll down to the bottom part of the page.

My poems for Read Write Poem April poem a day challenge will be shared below in their original state. I’d love for you to share your thoughts when you have some time.

NaPoWriMo Anthology from Read Write Poem

Dana Guthrie of the former Read Write Poem community website, has compiled the poetry of several participants in an online anthology. I’ve decided to add it to my site because I could. It’s a great way to showcase some of the great writing that was shared through that community.

I mentioned in a September post, that one of my poems is part of this anthology. The book is alphabetized by authors’ last names. My poem is Consumed by Fire Daily.

I hope you read and enjoy the entire collection.
