Random Thought on New Year’s Day: Mortality

Not for one hundred

with just one digit.

One through nine went fast;
I used one each chance I got
without knowing why.

It dawned on me on
the first—I can’t again do
it in my lifetime.

    Thanks Mark, and that's it really–the odd reminder that we're here for a little longer. And taking joy in the time we have is the best way to go.
