I have a JVC Everio but don't like the proprietary software and .MOD file types, although when I do get around to converting the image is excellent. Certainly not so much. And while it's lovely at the time, the dead leaves after the freeze show the price paid--no such thing as free poetry, right? I'm in some uncharted territory with my video files since I just upgraded to windows 7. I haven't tried to transfer them yet, but hopefully it'll work out. It’s rare that it snows here.
